Employee Loan Agreement Sample (US)

Parties Involved:

Employer: XYZ Corporation

Employee: John Doe

Loan Details:

The Employer agrees to lend the Employee the principal sum of $10,000, with an annual interest rate of 5%, to be repaid over 12 months commencing from the date of disbursement.

Repayment Terms:

The Employee agrees to repay the loan in monthly installments of $883.33, including interest, until the full amount is repaid. Prepayment without penalty is allowed.

Loan Conditions:

• The Employee shall use the loan funds solely for personal or professional purposes as agreed upon.
• The Employee shall sign a promissory note confirming the loan terms.
• In case of default, the Employer reserves the right to recover the outstanding balance through payroll deduction or legal means.
