Shared Equity Agreement Sample
Parties Involved:

Property Description:
The property subject to this agreement is located at 789 Maple Avenue, New York, NY 10003, or other property as mutually designated.
Equity Share Terms:
The investor shall hold an ownership right equivalent to 30% of the property’s value, with the remaining 70% retained by the homeowner. Equity shares shall be calculated based on appraised property value at agreement signing, and adjustments shall be made upon sale or refinancing.
Investor Responsibilities:
The investor agrees to contribute toward property improvements, maintenance, and market enhancements as per mutually agreed plans, and to cooperate in efforts to increase property value.
Homeowner Responsibilities:
