Sample Publishing Agreement (US)

Work Description:

This agreement pertains to the publication of the author’s literary work titled “The Great Adventure,” including all related rights as specified herein.

Grant of Rights:

The author grants the publisher exclusive rights to publish, distribute, and sell the work worldwide in print, digital, and audio formats for a period of five (5) years from the date of signing.

Royalties & Payment Terms:

The publisher shall pay the author a royalty rate of 10% of net sales, payable quarterly. Advances against royalties may be negotiated separately.

Author Responsibilities:

The author agrees to deliver the final manuscript in the agreed format and to cooperate in promotional activities related to the publication.

Governing Law:
